The SRO Degree provides tenants with real life skills and knowledge to take power in their current living situations by connecting them with resources about Housing and Tenant Rights. Through the SRO Degree program, SRO tenants learn how to become leaders and make positive changes in their buildings without the use of legal tools. Topics covered by workshops include eviction prevention, maintenance and repair skills, and effective communication with landlords.
